Australia

The Pilbara-Ashburton region of Western Australia was host to the second major gold discovery in that state and was declared a goldfield in the 1880’s. This region remains relatively unexplored. NuStar holds the right to a controlling interest of approximately 1,000 km2 of prospective territory in the vicinity of the Paulsens Gold Mine and is exploring a number of nearby prospects to identify satellite deposits which could be mined and shipped to Paulsens for processing. These prospects include Belvedere, Gossan Ridge and Gossan Hill group of tenements.

Soil geochemistry and rock chip sample assays of outcrop are used to provide a quick assessment of a number of prospective areas and have generated several targets. Follow up work will include in-fill geochemistry and drilling. Significant areas of the company’s tenement holdings remain untested to any significant degree.
