Intrepid is currently exploring a known extension of the Kamila Deposit (Development stage) called Julieta vein system. Julieta, located 4 km to the northwest and discovered in 2005, represents a potential new area of near surface mineral resource for the Casposo Project. Recent trench results on Julieta from trench 03-06 encountered 5.16 g/t gold and 28.2 g/t silver over 6.8 m.

In March 2006, Intrepid completed the first phase of a 960 m of core drilling. Seven of 10 drill holes intersected ore grade, which included 68 g/t gold and 265 g/t silver over 1.2 m, and 6.4 g/t gold and 32 g/t silver over 8.45 m. A second phase of diamond drilling for a total of 5,000 m is planned on the Julieta zone to further develop these structures. Julieta remains a priority target for 2006.

In April 2006, 1,325 m of diamond drilling was completed in the corridor southeast of the Kamila deposit, which demonstrated a continuation of alteration and structure consistent with the main Mercado-Kamila zones. Several of these holes intersected zones characterized by narrow 1-2 metre intervals of anomalous silver (40 to 60 g/t) and gold (0.2 to 0.3 g/t).Step out hole DDH CA-06-152 assayed 4.51 g/t gold and 2,274 g/t silver over a core length of 1.60 m (see April 28/06 press release).

The style and magnitude of the alteration suggests that this may be a significant new zone, which is located approximately 250 m southeast of the proposed Kamila pit at a vertical depth of 60 m. These results imply a continuation of the Kamila vein system to the southeast. The next phase of drilling is due to commence in May 2006.
